During a 10 month period, I trained towards competing in an Ironman triathlon event, 2.4-mile open water swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2-mile run. This involved training for these separate disciplines-swimming, cycling and running-increasing the distance and time week on week. I planned my training schedule around a busy work and family life completing between 12-15 hours of training a week. To enable me to maintain this high level of activity and avoid injury and soreness I enlisted the help of Angela. She expertly monitored my areas of pain and muscle soreness, helped relieve muscle tension after long training sessions and maintained my physical well being throughout my long training period. This allowed me to train continuously and consistently week after week towards my goal and enable me to complete my Ironman.
